Art, Fashion & Photography are three anomalies that a few of us have time for but a part of us truly enjoy, in a Harare context that is because of the hustle. Seems like they are a few neopolitant minds that are willing to be missunderstood and have turned this into a downtown conversation.

The 3rd installment of Downtown Conversations that was hosted buy Caligraph, Skeyi & Strobo, Vigorous Asthetics and Stellenbosch Academy Of Art had a group of like minded people from different cities come together and show of their “Vans” but most importantly talk about art, history and fashion.

With a panel that had Ulenni Okandlovu, Marcus “The Energy Doctor” Zvinavashe & Mike Mavura from Stellenbosch who where being moderated by in his own words “Just A Cool Dude” So Profound, saw the conversation go from how communities come together to the historical relevance of cities like Harare & Stellenbosch in helping guide an artistic direction. Through out the whole conversation the key words where “Collaboration and Research” that lead to the conversation pivoting to looking into archives for direction and discovering ways in which they can be used as a vessel.

Some of the visitors had some extremely positive sentiments to share about their time in Harare, citing that the City felt welcoming. All that being said the extravagant fashion was on display with the Hararians bringing their Fabrik Party Vibes as usual & the guys from Stellenbosch had a couple of representatives high up there.
