“This development is iconic and historic in many ways. This comes 43 years after Bob Marley performed at Zimbabwe’s independence celebrations in Harare. Reggae music has since then become one of the most consumed and performed genres in the country with the last decade seeing the domination of a localized version of Dancehall called ZimDancehall” wrote Plot Mhako from Earground.
“Africa Unite” is a powerful and timely album that celebrates the music and message of Bob Marley. It is a must-have for any fan of reggae, dancehall, or African music.
